#20 - Halloween 2008

Author's Notes:

Oh snap Bob. Oh snap. Did anyone get the joke about Adrian's comic, by the way? That was probably just far too nerdy, but I just had to put it in there. Sorry.

Eight and a half months, 20 comics? Not too bad, but not too great. I'm going to try and find time (even in college!) to step up the pace a bit - no guarantees, but I really do want to work on Bob the Earth some more. One main problem is one I've foreseen since the conception of the idea - making a webcomics based solely around anthropomorphic planets is HARD. The delays in updates are starting to often be due to writer's block. I'll keep trying, though. Wish me luck.

Just keep looking, I'm sure you'll figure it out eventually. Bob is being kind of a jerk, though.

College is definitely going to slow down updates, both on this site and on Sketchy Morris. Don't worry, though; by no means am I going to stop either comic. ROCK ON!

If anyone has a better idea let me know, and if I like it I'll gladly edit it in.

So, I'm going to be in Europe for the next two weeks. I'm obviously not lugging a scanner there, so there won't be updates. I guess you'll just have to wait for the ending to the cliffhanger.

"What cliffhanger?"

Exactly.

(In other news, I don't seem to be making much sense today, do I?)

Taiwan Update, and Bonus Sketch

So here's the deal. I'm in Taiwan and there's a scanner, but I didn't bring along my editing program. Whoops. So, there will still be no new comics until after I get back, which is in a week and a half.

In the meantime, though, I scanned in this sketch I drew of the Bob the Earth solar system. This is kind of a bonus, because you get to see my character designs for all of the planets (including, of course, ones that haven't actually appeared in the comic yet). Enjoy!

That just happened to be the format for my Earth Day comic. But still, 10 is a pretty good achievement, no?

Thanks for reading, and remember: Every day is Earth Day!

No, not really.
